Awestruck...

It just gets better and better.
He's been wide awake and super alert for the past couple of hours.
The doctors and nurses here are thrilled with his progress.
I am ecstatic!
The Breathing Trial was perfect.
He went without the vent for over two hours and never needed it once.
They will do another trial in the morning
and if it goes well they plan to extubate sometime tomorrow.
.
Heavenly Father is pouring down blessings upon this little boy
and on all of those who are praying for him.
I am hearing amazing stories...
I have learned that faith heals... Not just the body and mind, but the soul.
Prayer seals hearts together.
Even people who have never met in this life.
Angels walk on earth as well as in heaven.
I see their goodness with fresh eyes.
.
Thank you all for your strength and testimony...
I am in awe of you!

Beautiful Boy
John Lennon

Close your eyes,
Have no fear,
The monsters gone,
He's on the run and your daddy's here,

Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy,

Before you go to sleep,
Say a little prayer,
Every day in every way,
It's getting better and better,

Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy,

Out on the ocean sailing away,
I can hardly wait,
To see you to come of age,
But I guess we'll both,
Just have to be patient,
Yes it's a long way to go,
But in the meantime,

Before you cross the street,
Take my hand,
Life is just what happens to you,
While your busy making other plans,

Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy

My heart is filled with joy to know that your little Bronson is being lifted and healed by the many, many prayers that are being offered up on his behalf. We are stationed in Japan, and rest assured that there are prayers for Bronson's health are coming from our side of the world. We also pray for the continued strength and peace for your family. Please try to forgive yourself...as mothers, we all have left our kids alone "just for a sec"...it really could have happened to any of us. I read your blog last night and this morning had to check it first thing to see how little Bronson was doing. I'm so happy for you that he had a good breathing trial. Hugs to all of you...your husband, the other boys, your extended family and the doctors and nurses that are taking care of Bronson.

With love from Calgary, Alberta, Canada...

Sara, wow how your story has brought back way too many fond memories and lots of tears. The first intial shock, the drive to UVRMC the loooong drive to PCMC and so on. The brain swelling, the tubes, the rollercoaster of emotions. I linked to your blog from another who was praying for you and asking for prayers and when I saw that it was you, someone I know, it hurt so much worse.

I quickly said a prayer to comfort you and Matt and your boys, to bless Bronson, and for everything to go as planned, according to God's will.

I am so glad that things are looking up and hope that they will continue to do so. You are so sweet, such a strong woman, a wonderful mother, and even though it was hard to read Bronson's story of the accident, thank you for sharing.

I will continue to pray for you and yours, especially Bronson. He is in good hands.

I am amazed at your strength! I know that you are being lifted up by the love our Heavenly Father has for you and all the prayers being offered on your behalf. I have a 20 month old little boy. I can't imagine what you must be going through...a whirlwind, haze as you described it very well. I hold a prayer in my heart for your whole family. For all your boys and a special mother whose heart has been wounded but will heal as the powers of heaven reign down upon you. Thank you for documenting this unimaginable event in your life so that all of us can take notice and be present. Thank you.
