Sara and Matt, we are so happy for you, your family, and especially Bronson. We continue to pray for a full recovery for Bronson.

Sara, a few posts ago you said on that fateful day you had been looking forward to writing your next book. This is your next book. It just isn't the one you planned on writing. It is the one the world needs to read. Thank you for sharing your story with us so candidly.

Having worked for over 20 years in the NBICU I am familiar with the roller coaster ride parents are on. Good days give elation and bad days despair. I always tried to counsel the parents of my patients to look at progress over time and not in the moment. Even a bad day could still show progress when it wasn't as bad as several days ago. If plotted on a graph, you would look at the average and not the peaks and valleys. You seem to have learned how to do that on your own.

May Heavenly Father continue to bless all of you and guide you in your decisions.

With much love,
Alyse and Ed Jones

I spent the week hurting and feeling for your family...
Which is the mother that never left the bathroom leaving her children on their own?
I have done it time after time...
And I was lucky nothing ever happened. I fellt so bad about myself!
So glad to see your family around this precious little boy...

This will make a fantastic book someday! They say that everything is bigger in Texas... let's hope our prays are too! Thank you for being brave enough to share the heartbreak and the joy. There are a few things about bath time for my boys that will be changing NOW. I wonder how many sweet little lives YOU have saved just by reminding us how quickly something can happen...

Grateful for you... and your ROCK STAR of a son!

Sara,
I am a mama of 2 boys, ages 2 & 3 years. Ever since I came across your blog, I have thought of you and prayed for you often. Every day at bathtime, I say a prayer of thanks for my sweet boys and their health, and one for healing for your sweet boy and your family.
And I pray for healing for YOU, mama. Focus on what you have done and are doing right ... we ALL make mistakes.

I am also an Occupational Therapist, so I have watched with interest as Bronson has progressed. Isn't it thrilling? I love to see those tiny, baby steps that feel like a marathon. Such an accomplishment! What a loving family you have; the support of family makes such a difference in a person's recovery. When I saw the pic you posted two days ago where he was SMILING, I thought: I'll bet that baby is home in no time! You could just see it in his eyes: he's gonna be better. Period. He must get his determined spirit from his Mama!
May God continue to pour out His blessings on you & your family!

We live in your stake, and have been praying for your family and little guy. Even our daughters who live away from here have followed your blog, and we have discussed Bronson's progress endlessly. Without exception, each of us has said: "I've done the same thing when the kids ( & grands) were in the tub. Many times!" Your faith and willingness to accept the Lord's will has touched many hearts. I hope I get to meet you sometime at a stake function! Love, Laura Leseberg, Grandview 9th Ward

You don't know me but I found this blog through a friend that mentioned it on theirs. It broke my heart when I read the story and my heart went out to your family. I now want to check everyday to see how he is doing. It was so fun to see your other boys singing his favorite song and him looking like he is doing so well. My prayers will continue to be with your family!

So glad most of the tubes and things are gone! So so happy for you guys!
