Oh what joy! There really is no other words. I have been following your blog only for the past two days. I can honestly sit here and write as a total stranger, and tell you that I am ecstatic right now! As if we've been friends forever. I am in awe of you. In awe of your story, of your faith and strength. I'm in awe of this beautiful smiling miracle in this picture! What a sweetheart! I wept as I've read your posts. Life is so fragile and unfortunately it takes something like this for people to realize it. I am so grateful that he is doing so well! Thank you. You have completely changed my perspective on life. I pray that Heavenly Father will continue to heal Bronson. That He will continue to pour blessing after blessing upon your sweet family. SUCH great news!

How awesome this story is. How grateful we all are to have a little bit of this story in our lives too! You two are amazing parents. Your other boys from what I have read and following in your steps. I know one day you will forgive yourself. Bronson already has. His eyes are so warm and welcoming to life around him. Thanks again for sharing your life. It is hope and strength for us all.

You can't even know the effect his recovery has had on my little one's testimony. They're 17, 15, 12, 11 and 3, and they've all been praying for Bronson and you guys, and this right here, his recovery and smile, his extubation...all of it...has done things to their testimonies. God is great! Bless you, your family and your beautiful boy. Keeping you all in my prayers.
WHOAAaAA!!!I have been wanting to write to you but I know you have been so busy with your little guy. And with the tons of supporter you have! That is just awesome. But, you don't know me, I happened on to your blog through natalie nortons blog. I wanted to share with you a story about my husband, hopefully it encourages you.I don't know if you will get to read it as I could imagine it is overwhelming reading so many posts. My husband when he was 13 years old had his head crushed into a rock in a roll over jeep accident. The paramedics knew of his injury but didn't think his head injury was as bad as some of the other injuries at the accident so the got him to he hospital and put him on a stretcher as focused the other patient. I must add I live in a very small town in South East Utah and at the time our medical staff and hospital was very very tiny. So they were focused on the others, luckily a doctor walked by him and noticed he was losing his life fast. His head was split open and the pressure of his brain was beginning to swell. They then got him on a flight to Grand Junction Colorado asap. He layed in a coma for several days after that. He woke up with no memories. No use of his right side at all. Couldn't feed himself, couldn't talk, couldn't walk, everything right side GONE. The doctors said it doesn't look good he may not come back from this. Well, the Lord knows His children. He blessed Him in so many ways. He progressed quickly, he remembered things. He did have quite the struggle with feeding himself for awhile but, he got it. I am married to that man now and I watch him as a father and priesthood holder and he served and honorable mission, he is great. The Lord has his purposes and I have no doubt that if we have faith in his will, that hope will speak peace to our hearts. Satan will replace it with fear as he always does. I look at my husband and I am so thankful he was preserved for a special time and place and that I get to have him. I will bet you Bronson has a special time and place lurking ahead. just wanted to share. thanks for letting us pray for you and yours!brookie
His beautiful little smile made me break down in tears. What a relief for everyone!! I am so grateful that he is doing so well!!
You don't know me as you have read so many others like that but you do my son and daughter Mark and Sabra. I know your husband Matt as we have shopped for carpeting with him. As Mark said, Bronson is a little stud. I love his smile and his beautiful eyes they show so much expression. Heavenly father has big things in store for this young lad and right now he is the only one that knows of them. Mark would come to work on our home and start by reading your blog through teary eyes and a choked voice, finally he sent us your site. i am sure many of the commenters will keep your family in their prayers for a long time to come. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in your darkest hour, Sara. You are touching so many--myself included. Our prayers will continue for Bronson's full recovery. Love you.
I just stumbled upon your blog through a friend and read your story. I've just spent the last bit reading and crying my eyes out. Back in June, my niece had a near drowning experience (in a pool) and it is amazing to read the similarities in these 2 stories. Reading your story was like reliving my family's all over again. After spending 8 days in the PICU, she went from completely lifeless with very little hope to a typical 5 year old, so happy and sweet. Now, 7 months later, you'd never know that she nearly lost her life. Miracles do happen. Thank you for sharing your story. Prayers for your family from Long Beach, California!
Amazing! I am overjoyed for him and your sweet family!! This is that best news ever!!!
This just made my day!!! I don't know you and your sweet family, but your story touched my heart and I have been fasting and praying for your amazing little guy! What a fighter and a miracle!!! Just another testimony of the power of prayers!!! Pure joy for sure!!!Love from WA state!!!

I can't stop crying this past couple days. I've come across your blog through others and read your story, I have 2 boys the exact same age as daynen & bronson(literally just days apart from eachother) I can't tell you how you've changed my life forever. I have often stepped away from the tub, thinking, Oh if I could just go grab this, or just do that. As mom's we have such a load on our shoulders, its only a couple minutes but what we can get done in a couple minutes is huge to us. I will never take for granted the important and even simple things in life now. You are an amazing mother. You have made a huge impact on so many people by sharing this. My husband and I haven't stopped thinking about and praying for you and your sweet family for days, I can't help just crying on the spot. I love the video, it really put it into reality. I am so happy to see he is doing better and what a MIRACLE. The Lord is our true Savior, our healer. He has healed Bronson, and we are all rejoicing over this miracle.
I am a friend of a friend, who told me about your accident and to read your blog. For the past 2 hours I have been reading and crying. As the mother of 2 girls, 16 months and 3 yrs, I cant imagine your horror and pain. But, I also can't imagine the joy of getting your son back. I really feel my testimony strengthened by your family and especially sweet Bronson. Whata beautiful boy. I pray for his full recovery. Your experience makes my children that much more dear to me. Thank you for your posts!! Love, Ashley

Absolutely amazing!! What an amazing boy - and Heavenly Father is truly amazing. What a miracle. I am so happy for you and your family, that your little boy has been returned to you. He is beautiful - and thank you for sharing your family with us. It broke my heart to see little Bronson hooked up to all those machines. He's around my son's age - same hair color and style. And I was reminded how fast they can be gone. Your story reminds me how precious life is - and what a wonderful joy children are!
I love this photo. It's almost like he doesn't know what he's hooked up to.
We used to play Bunko together with Jane and Susan. Then I had a Cayden, a year or two before you finally had yours. I remember how excited you were to finally become pregnant and a momma. Then our paths drifted apart. Then just recently, I found your book at Deseret Book up here in Seattle/Bellevue just before Christmas. I wanted to let you know how amazingly beautiful it is. However, I just got busy until now. When I typed in your name and location the web pulled up your family blog too. I was astonished to find the current trial your family is going through. Your story has touched me. I just wanted to add my well wishes and prayers to the abundance of love and support. Your faith is so apparent and tangible, you sons miracle is evidence of IT. Warmly from an old friend,Yvette White
My heart quite literally leapt in my chest when I opened your blog and saw that photo!! I am so delighted for you, little Bronson, his daddy, brothers and all your family and friends. How wonderful and thank you for sharing your journey
I'm a friend of a friend of a friend, etc. One of my favorite scriptures is Mosiah 27:14. Heavenly Father is so insistent on answering prayers that he sent an angel! I have called his name before the Lord on your behalf and I've had such a peace for you. The Lord is going to continue to do a great work.I guess I felt so attached to your story because like you Sara, I am the "Supermom" who can do a thousand things at once.
