I am currently grateful for 2 things...
(Everything else I am pretty sure I could live without!)
1- The modern miracle of air-conditioning...
.
.
And 2- The wonderful man who is going to show up sometime tomorrow to fix ours!
.
(Seriously, it's the end of July, people... It's 100 degrees outside!
And do I need to remind you that I am 7 months pregnant?
NOT a good time to come home from vacation and find the AC out!)

I am right there with you Sara as we have no AC here and the humidity is awful.
I am NOT however 7 months pregnant so you win:)
We hear you! What is up with broken AC's? We returned home from the Philippines with our upstairs just HOT. Dusty has continued to sleep in a bedroom in the basement because he can't handle it, and yet, the repairman keeps promising to show up to fix it and ummmmm, he hasn't yet!
But, none of us are pregnant! I hope yours is working VERY SOON!
Hmmm, kinda reminds me of my summer last year...7 months pregnant, no AC...except I didn't have the option of having the repair man come, we didn't even have AC. Of course the tempuratures had to be abnormally high too, it was in the 100's when we got back from our Utah trip. I pretty much just wanted to pack up and go back to UT. At least you have a basement you can escape to if you had to! :) Hope it's working soon!!!
oh...I know how you feel, minus the pregnancy!! We don't HAVE A/C! Some how I manage to keep the main floor about 76 most days, even when it is above 100 outside! Thank goodness for window units, I guess!
Hope he shows up TODAY!!
Oh honey!!! How can you bear it? I am not prego and I would melt. If the repair man doesn't show up let me know and I will send my dad (owns his own business) out ASAP!
seriously Sara I would die without mine. This pregnancy has made me feel hot even in my air conditioned home. That fixer guy better work quick. Good luck!
