Shhh! It's a secret!

We went...
.

We saw...

.

We know...
.

And we are EXCITED!

But guess what?

WE"RE NOT TELLING!

At least not until after our Moms open their Mother's Day Gifts!

Sorry, but they deserve to be the first to know, don't they?
And don't bother looking for clues in these photos... we made sure there weren't any!

Stay Tuned this Weekend...

Big weekend...

We are headed down to
St. George
tomorrow afternoon

for a little
Mother's Day Getaway...

...right after our
Ultrasound!
.
We can't wait to keep you all in suspense, so keep an eye out here until we share our News!

(For the record, I'm prepared for and betting on a boy!)

Cinco de Mayo!

Since I've been sick in bed for two days,
I decided I needed an excuse to get up and do something productive... Hmmm...

Cinco de Mayo!

Per-fect-o!

Since we have NO ties to Mexico (other than liking to vacation there!),
we decided to Americanize our celebration... Staker-style!

Here's the spread...

Fajitas, please!

... with all the "Fixin's"!

(Pretty, if nothing else!)

and Chips & Mango Salsa... YUM!

Everyone seemed to LOVE them...
Even the littlest critic!
(Um... these are "Ghost-Goggles", by the way...

Yeah, we don't know either... whatever!)

Despite their technical difficulties...

They all cleaned their plates and dug in for more!
And then even got to pig-out on Dessert!

(That's David, by the way... Kade's friend who ate over...)

Then for FHE, we had a quickie "cultural" lesson about Mexico, the History of Cinco de Mayo, the Mexican flag, etc. The boys colored pictures I printed off the internet of Fiestas and Pinatas.

And we ended the evening with a favorite "Mexican-American" game...

What else? UNO!

T Starts T-Ball...

Well, it's Official!
The Spring Sports Season has started for the Stakers!

.
And here's our newest Sideline-fan...

(who doesn't like to stay on the side-line, I might add!)

.

.
(Totally star-struck by his big brothers and can't WAIT to get in the middle of the action!)
.
Trevan had his very FIRST T-Ball Game at 9:00 Saturday morning.
(After a 10 minute melt-down about not wanting to miss cartoons and get dressed,
he finally agreed he'd go and "watch"... SURE!)
.

.
Of course, once he got there, he realized T-Ball ROCKS!

.

.

With Coach Daddy, he practiced hitting...
.

.
running bases...

.

.

pitching...
.
.
.
throwing...
.

.

.

And... well, now we just have to work on catching!

.

But being our "natural athlete" and having a July Birthday

(so he just barely misses the age deadline...)

is going to be an advantage for him as he gets older...

He is the biggest and by FAR most coordinated kid on the team!

What a little All-Star!

Little Sluggers...

Kade started his Coach-Pitch Baseball Season
Saturday morning at 11:00.
.

It was a good first game... (They won!)
.
He made a few great plays...
.

.

a couple of base-hits...

.

.

and made it around the diamond a few times...

.

.
Not to mention his FAB-ULOUS performance in the Outfield!

.

.

He loves having his best-buddy CJ is on his team...
.

.
He's a great player!

.

.
(Now is that a "Pop-fly" or "Air-guitar" ?

.

.

(So here you go, Ang... until you have your own, I'm blogging FOR you!)

Women's Expo...

So I had BIG plans for this afternoon...
I was planning to finish my Laundry and re-organize my Craft Room...
(Yeah, I know... Wahoo!)

Well, that all got pushed to the back-burner when my good girlie-friend called
with an extra ticket to the
Women's Expo!
.

(I admit, I wasn't planning to go, but it sure sounded like a lot more fun!)

Lots of cool girl-stuff...
Too bad I just had a Pedicure last week... the Glitter Toes from La Villa were the big hit!

Jane did GOLD and they are to die for!
(I didn't take a photo, but imagine THIS on her toes... so cah-yewt!)

And too bad I'm too fat/prego (and thus not in the market to buy jeans for a while)...

because I really want these... (among others)... sigh...

And too bad they wouldn't let me Laser-whiten my teeth...

(...Haven't tested it yet for safety during pregnancy...)

SoooOOOOoooOOO... my big purchase was:

...which I've heard all about and have been dieing to try!

I feel like my skin has been so awful with this pregnancy, so I am hoping this might help...

Everyone I know who uses it looks a-MAZ-ing!

. . . . .

So thanks, Jane-y for getting me out! Lots of fun! :)

What the...?

This is what it LOOKS like outside in our yard today:
Trees and flowers in beautiful bloom...
.
Butterflies gliding from flower to flower...
.
It's May, afterall... not crazy unpredictable April... but May.
.
My HEAT just clicked on in the house.
It's 45 for a HIGH today, currently 36.
(Need I remind you, it was sunny and in the 80's just a few short days ago...)
I'm officially annoyed.
.
And does this look RIGHT to anyone?
.
Robins, the token carrier-bird of Springtime, in the SNOW?
.
It's tragic, really...
. . . .
I copied this off my friend Jenn's blog and it pretty much sums up my feeling precisely...

Dear Old Man Winter,

I do not regret to inform you that you have worn out your stay here and are no longer welcome.

Please know that I am anxiously awaiting your hasty departure. I will not miss you. I will not be sad when you are gone.
